The Unique auction experience
We will supply a unique auction experience an ideal after
dinner entertainment concept. "Under the Hammer"
comes complete with a professional auctioneer, all the lots
and we even supply all the money for your guest to bid with.
However be careful all that shines is not golden.
As your guests come through to dinner our auction assistant
will give them an amount of fun money, we don’t tell
them at this point what it is for. They will presume it’s
the same old after dinner casino or race night…. "Fun"
but they have all seen it before.
During coffee our auction porter, complete with old brown
traditional overall coat and baggy cloth cap, positions the
auctioneers lectern, and in enters our auctioneer, a person
who can "sell ice to the Eskimos".
Your guests are warned again all that shines is not golden;
Lot 2 is a fine bottle of champagne for the table to share.
They beg, borrow, and steal for the money. "They are
gloating" they have out bid all the others. But they
should have waited lot three is a magnum of champagne….
They bid like mad for the last lot a rather fine model of
a Tiger Moth Plane,
Something they can take home for the children, or even to
display in the office. The hammer goes down…."Wait
they don’t get the model! They will receive a flying
lesson in an vintage Tiger Moth" a true lifetime experience.
There are twelve lots in total, and the show lasts for 30
to 45 minutes,
Guaranteeing a lot of fun and excitement, as your audience
try to work out whether it is gold or is it lead! In fact
everything needed for a great after dinner experience. It’s
a bit like the Antique Road Show meets Jeremy Beadle!
