Scuba lessons are an excellent way for understanding the whole universe that exists under the sea. You can come face to face with some of the most awe inspiring fish and test your limits in shark infested waters, when you are qualified. Water covers the majority of the earth’s surface and beneath it’s surface there is a world just waiting to be explored.

Your scuba lessons will begin with and safety and equipment induction, where you will begin to understand how your equipment works and what to do while on your scuba lessons. Once you have completed this induction your scuba lessons will get under way. Your scuba instructor will take you into confined water something like a swimming pool. In this stage of your scuba lessons you will get to grips with your scuba equipment and learn how to swim effortlessly with it on.

Once this stage of your scuba lessons has been completed it is into the sea, into quite calm waters, where you will come face to face with the creatures of the sea and understand and appreciate the work that you have done in your scuba lessons. Your scuba lessons will probably open up a lifelong love affair with the sea.

Your scuba lessons with Mustard Experiences will not mean that you are certified to dive, but these scuba lessons will mean you have taken the first crucial steps to becoming a certified scuba diver. Your scuba lessons are part of the Discover Scuba Diving programme and once completed you will be able to do your PADI Open Water Diver course.

If you do this course straight after your scuba lessons the skills you learnt from doing the Discover Scuba Diving course will come in very handy and they maybe used towards your certification on the PADI Open Water Drive programme, at the discretion of your instructor.

To do scuba lessons you must be a minimum age of 10 years old and accompanied by an adult if you are under 14 years old. A medical form will have to be completed and anyone with medical conditions should consult their doctor before hand to see if they are suitable for the scuba lessons, as we may need a certificate of fitness.

Scuba lessons are an ideal way to get to know the sea and will more than likely open up a love for the sea that you never knew you had. We will provide you with all the equipment you need for the scuba lessons, so there is no extra cost .
