With the current F1 season on a break until the Belgium Grand Prix in Spa on 28th August, I thought a reflection over the previous three races could shine some light on what to expect for the rest of the season.
As some of you have had track days with the driving experiences from Great Experience Days, it will be no surprise that fortunes on the track can change. Red Bull have been unsuccessful in the last three races, giving McLaren and Ferrari opportunities to raise their game. When it comes to the next race, there is a lot to play for and all the top drivers are going to be looking to strip away points from Vettels lead.
The key to fortunes on the track involve the car, the tyres, driving style and the team behind you, plus there are other factors such as the weather, we only have to look at Button to see how unfavourable weather conditions can affect the results of a race, in his case it was for victory in Hungary.
If there is one thing you can be sure of in racing, it is the uncertainty!
