There is no need to be rich and famous to get a helicopter flying lesson, this is your chance to see what it feels to travel like the jetset, in this 60 minute flight. If you just want to relax, you are free to either sit back and enjoy the ride, or if you are feeling confident, you can use your 60 minutes as a trial lesson. Trial lessons are the perfect opportunity to start your journey towards your helicopter licence, you can even take the controls during your first flight!

After arrival at the helicentre your lesson commences with a pre-flight briefing. You will then discuss and plan a flight path of your choice with your own personal instructor, and then it’s time for take off!! Your instructor will demonstrate forward flight, the art of hovering and the unique manoeuvrability of a helicopter before you will be given a chance to do some hands on flying of your own. At some locations you will be are presented with a commemorative certificate.
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Your weight must not exceed 17 stone and your height must not exceed 6ft 4inches. Larger helicopters are available at extra cost payable directly on when booking. Tuition is usually in a Robinson R22 Beta. All training helicopters have dual controls so the instructor can safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft. All flight time counts towards a helicopter licence should you decide to continue training. Please book well in advance to ensure a mutually convenient time.
